Job Summary
The Salesforce Analyst will contribute to the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. This role is part administrator and part analyst. The Salesforce Analyst will execute our CRM platform's day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement. The Salesforce Analyst will continually collaborate with corporate IS management and resources, work to maintain a high level of customer service, and provide suggestions for process improvements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 900+ users
- Handle all basic administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, flows, and other routine tasks
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
- Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
- Assist in training users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
- Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development teams
- Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other complex content
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
- Strong data management abilities
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
- Available to work on-site in Irvine, CA - Monday to Friday
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce.com Admin certified
- International Medical Device industry experience
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer certifications
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard or mouse, and to handle other computer components.
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
- The work environment characteristics are normal office conditions.
- Occasional overtime may be required
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Off-hours work may be required to support / minimize business disruption during regular business hours
