To strengthen our Market Access & Pricing team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Senior Analyst, Government Pricing

The Senior Analyst / Analyst, Government Pricing position is responsible for managing the accurate calculation and timely submission of all required government price reporting and government contract performance measures for all UCB products. This role is responsible for assuring compliance with all pricing and reporting requirements legislated by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Veterans Affairs, and any state or federal legislation required price reporting.

Candidates local to the Atlanta area are preferred but remote candidates will be considered.

You will contribute by:

  • Calculating, validating and reporting accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions of product pricing information and other pertinent data to the respective government entity.
  • Demonstrating a full understanding of GP calculation methodologies including understanding how changes impact calculated results.
  • Researching and analysing period over period changes documenting the drivers on all variances.
  • Validating data integrity by reconciling to general ledgers, resolving data scrub violations, and confirming successful data load into GP system.
  • Presenting government pricing results to senior management.
  • Playing an active role as liaison to Legal, Finance, Product Managers, and Account Teams in the analysis of product government price results, launches of new products and potential recalculations of prior period pricing.
  • Communicating with internal and external counsel and other consultants to gain an understanding of legislative nuances.
  • Reviewing and confirming customer COT's per company guidelines.
  • Supporting calculation compliance and related process improvements, including automation opportunities.
  • Understanding and estimating impact of pricing and policy changes regarding government pricing.
  • Demonstrating full understanding of UCB policies and procedures regarding all Government Programs.
  • Performing pricing research and analysis on special projects as assigned.

For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years prior experience in Government Pricing calculations or a financial, analytical related field
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet programs and the demonstrated ability to understand and develop complex mathematical formulas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience within a pharmaceutical contracts & pricing group with in-depth knowledge and understanding of government regulatory requirements
  • Proven success in maintaining compliance in a regulatory environment\
  • Experience with Model N suite of applications (GP, MDM, Medicaid, CARS) helpful
