The Northeast Business Development Manager's primary goal is to deliver sales and profits for the Upstream Division of Tosca which was created in the Summer of 2020. Areas of Focus are in the Food Processing/Manufacturing, Packaging, Pharma, Raw Materials, and Ingredients Industries in North America. We are taking a product-agnostic approach to the market, focusing on reusable packaging and service solutions we can develop to address pain points and challenges our customers and prospects experience daily. We do this by leveraging Tosca's 60+ Year History and extensive Service Center Network across the USA.

This is a remote position, but qualified candidates should live in the Northeast area of the US.

• Develop and Execute a Sales Plan based on Process and Outcome Goals
• Leverage a Value-Based Selling Model to drive New Business Growth, with a keen focus on Solution Selling for known or uncovered Challenges and Pain Points.
• Prospect within assigned geographical and Upstream responsibilities
• Relationship management for existing customers and/or prospects
• Visit customers and prospects frequently; where applicable, conduct quarterly or semi-annual business reviews
• Structure expansion of own customers and prospects
• Calculate, control, and communicate quotations with set profitability limits by collaborating with FP&A Team
• Draft contracts by collaborating with Tosca Legal Team
• Trade Show and Conference Selection and Participation
• Collaborate with Tosca Marketing for Upstream Communications and Collateral- (LinkedIn, Website, Email Campaigns, Presentations)
• Participate in the creation of successful implementation plans of new business initiatives
• Identify potential new market opportunities
• Analyze and anticipate market evolutions from a commercial point of view
• Vet new business opportunities with OPS/Engineering/Logistics and Food Safety Teams
• Assist in the design of new product or service opportunities

• 5+ Years Experience in the Pallet Packaging, Supply Chain, Warehousing/Distribution, Material Handling, or Automation Industries
• Must possess deep knowledge of Supply Chains from the 1st to the Last Mile
• Skilled in Value-Based, Solution Selling
• Skilled Negotiator
• Skilled Hunter with a track record of delivering New Business who comes equipped with a large Rolodex to Prospect From
• Strong Presentation Skills both in Person and in Virtual
• Must possess a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with groups like Operations, Logistics, and Quality/Food Safety Teams
• Salesforce CRM Competency
• Bachelor's degree (BA) or (BS) is required
