Job Description

Perform field examinations of borrower's books, records and collateral. o Gather and analyze financial information to Identify root cause of problems found during an examination * Analyze prevailing trend * Measure financial risks associated with borrower's organization * Identify new sources of information that can be used to assess risk * Communicate with borrower verbally and in writing to gather necessary information, follow-up on outstanding needs, and to investigate identified concerns * Verbally communicate essential information uncovered during the exam with the Account Executive, Portfolio Manager, and Underwriter * Write clear and concise reports * Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting, or Finance with at least 9 credits of accounting (in lieu of degree - 5-8 years of successful previous ABL field exam experience) * Three years ABL field examination experience * Working knowledge and experience in application of GAAP and financial practices * Calculative, analytical mind * Problem-solving skills * Good communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills * Attention to detail - able to find obscure pertinent facts in during field examination * Must be able to make convincing presentation to management * Time management skills * Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills and working knowledge of many of the common accounting systems * Must have a valid driver license and adequate insurance, travel required
