Serves as an expert technologist on MRI Quality and Safety for all locations. Acts as a resource concerning MRI implant and device clearance, image post-processing and ensures that protocols are consistently updated and followed throughout the system. Assists with ACR image evaluation for MRI and serves as the point person for quality and safety implementation and support. Acts as a liaison between the MRMD and MRSO for MRI techs at all locations.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

1. Registered MRI technologist with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) with a minimum 5 years of experience in MRI.
2. Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
3. Certified by the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (ABMRS) as Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO) certified (MRSC) or certification obtained within one year of hire date.
4. Good written and oral communication skills.
