The Sr. Director ITE Global Procurement is responsible for the leadership and oversight of Dematic' s procurement organization tied to Installation Subcontracts and Labor; Transportation; and Project Engineering. This area of responsibility has a significant impact on the financial and operational risks of multimillion-dollar projects and are highly visible to our customers during the project execution phase.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $175,000-$250,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

  • Successfully defines workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.
  • Drives bottom-line savings through supplier management, negotiations, lean, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Mitigates significant project risk through proper bidding and contract administration discipline.
  • Develops business plans for the largest and most complex projects or directs a functional area for a medium to large division.
  • Acts as an advisor that troubleshoots and resolves extremely complex problems within multi-departments and/or cross-functional areas.
  • Conceptualizes and develops business relationships with executive management of ITE spend suppliers to furnish information regarding market conditions, trends and their probable effect on competition, price, and supply.
  • Directs all aspects of the supplier relationship, category management and operational Procurement planning and activities to deliver to project teams on-time, on-quality and to-budget each time and every time.
  • Drives cost savings tracking deliverables in Tender Cost Improvement and Project Budget Savings.
  • Directs the team and flow for managed spend for excellence in managed spend scope.
  • Negotiates the most complex and high volume spend contracts for goods, services, supplies, equipment, etc.
  • Optimizes supplier base through supplier selection, evaluation, performance management, conducts and consolidation for ITE.
  • Develops standards and best practices from regional collaboration and drives implementation globally.
  • Drive discipline risk mitigation approach to bidding and contract administration of projects under execution to include change management, claims management, and contract close out.

What We are Looking For:

  • +15 years of successful experience managing procurement teams
  • Bachelor's Degree Required in relevant discipline
  • MBA preferred
  • Leadership and change management agency across cultures
  • Proven negotiator
  • Track record of year-over-year savings productivity
  • Specific experience managing providers that supply "skill trade" workers on a project by project basis
  • Specific experience in logistics and freight management
  • Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area manage and expert knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact.
  • Demonstrates advance understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management
