Superior Irrigation Landscape, a partner of Heritage LSG is seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual for a Counter Sales Associate role. This full-time Customer Service/Counter Sales role will focus on order entry at the sales counter with other related duties such as: warehouse, stocking shelves, shipping products, and loading trucks. this will also have back up driving duties. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. *Non CDL Driving duties.

Duties:

• Entering orders at the point of sale using the company computer system
• Interacting with customers over the phone, via email, and in-person
• Greet customer with friendly attitude
• Communicate to customers the correct product for their application
• Communicate to customers how material is priced and sold
• Create Sales Orders and Quotes to estimate cost of projects, quantities of material needed from customer measurements
• Ensure smooth deliveries by scheduling effectively and maintaining open communication with team members and clients
• Order picking/staging/Replenishment
• Shipping/receiving
• Loading/unloading delivery vehicles
• Delivering products to customers and branch locations
• An eye for safety including pre-trip inspections, securing loads, and strict adherence to DOT/CDL regulations.
• Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA.
• Other related duties as assigned (non-cdl driving duties)

Requirements:

• Experience with irrigation products/pool/aquatics preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge, and Internet use
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required
• Forklift experience helpful
• Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
• Requires a person who is a self-starter and has great organization and communication skills.
• Have a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation
• Able to pass criminal, DOT physical, driving background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma/GED and/or equivalent work experience.

• Ability to drive non-cdl fleet
