As a Supply Network Planner at Purolite, an Ecolab Company, you will manage a medium product portfolio, network, or division. As the Planner, you will be accountable for the Demand, Supply, or Raw Material plan to ensure customer requirements are met through S&OP, Mid-Long Term Capacity Planning, or Material Resolution. You will act as a liaison between production and various other internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do:

  • Performs supply network requirement planning to ensure customer requirements are met through monthly S&OP cycle for short-mid-long-term horizons, This includes developing and sending a master production schedule and distribution requirements plan while optimizing network capacity.
  • Manages inventory and achieve required inventory levels at the defined inventory component level across network stocking locations to meet customer service levels. Address inventory imbalances and implement corrective actions.
  • Identifies and resolve capacity constraints over the planning horizon to support development of a feasible plan.
  • Analyzes both inventory and capacity across the supply chain network for both regional and global views and provide feasible plan.
  • Coordinates inter-plant scheduling constraints related to schedule break-ins, raw materials, etc. facilitated through regular communication.
  • Collaborates with local Supply/Production and Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing to determine the appropriate supply strategies based on critical demand andsupply characteristics.
  • Optimize planning processes to support delivery, production, and financial (inventory) goals.
  • Designs and establishes new network procedures or solutions to drive value through increased efficiency or performance.
  • Manages daily operational partnerships with internal plants, warehouses and/or external suppliers.
  • Influences internal/external partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Works with the local Supply/Production/Material Planners to determine the optimal approach for applying key parameters for planning, including calculating/setting safety stock targets and EOQ values while ensuringalignment to achieve aggressive service, cost, and working capital targets.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and updates key master data fields in the ERP & planning system to ensure adherence to supply chain processes.
  • Provides thought leadership and guidance to Planning team on analytical skills and best practices.
  • Leads project and/or process work streams aimed at developing creative solutions and make recommendations to improve supply & production planning performance by balancing business objectives, includingcost/benefit analysis, seasonal demand patterns and associated action plans, what-if analysis, and liability inventory optimization.
  • Develops new reporting/analytical tools to support projects and departmental processes as needed.
  • Communicates directly with other functions, local sales force & management.
  • Ad hoc Supply Chain projects as assigned.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of study
  • 5 years of Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing experience
  • Experience leading and/or developing others
  • Proficiency with an ERP, advanced planning system, analytical system or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others
  • Leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
  • Experience navigating through ambiguous and complex situations
  • Some experience in resolving conflict situations effectively, with minimal noise

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced technical or business degree
  • Experience in operational excellence and project management such as TPM, Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Green Belt, etc.
  • APICS Certification
  • Direct people management experience
  • Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with Operations, Marketing and Customers
