Hours: Monday - Thursday 8a-4:30p Full-Time 64/hrs.

Practice Details

Roswell Internal Medicine is a full-service primary practice that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions in adult patients. Our board-certified physician, Dr. Gorka Zurinaga, has served the Roswell community for over two decades, and offers a wide range of services to treat diseases, from common to complex. Dr. Zurinaga utilizes evidence-based medicine while emphasizing the needs of the whole person, and uses the latest technology and knowledge to provide patients with an individualized health plan that can keep them healthy in every stage of their life. We offer additional services in wellness and nutrition, and advocate advanced laboratory studies for the early diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. We are welcoming new patients and offer a convenient location for the Roswell and North Fulton communities.

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician. Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

REQUIRED

  1. 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
  3. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.
  4. If employed at North Georgia Diagnostic Clinic, RMA or CMA must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

PREFERRED

  1. Certified as Medical Assistant.
