Responsibilities

The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for the planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department to a high standard of cleanliness
*
Observing all guidelines regarding infection control and local standards while assuring the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times
*
Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training, and developing all staff
*
Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all resident apartments, public areas and offices
*
Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of resident satisfaction and high standards of cleanliness across the community
*
To monitor, check and maintain standards of cleanliness within all areas of the community on a daily basis
*
Daily supervision of all housekeeping staff at Corso Atlanta
*
Recruit, schedule, and train all new housekeeping staff members
*
To adhere to all meetings such as health and safety, infection prevention and control, monthly team meetings
*
Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct
*
Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment
*
To review and update the self-check cleaning sheets and to undertake all audits
*
To report any maintenance problems observed either in residents' bedrooms or around the community immediately to the Maintenance Director
*
To maintain a professional and helpful attitude whilst on duty towards residents, families, visitors, and colleagues
*
To collaborate with all the other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the community
*
To ensure that housekeeping associates always wear the correct uniform and name badges whilst on duty
*
To assist when required with the cleaning of patient bedrooms
