HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?

North Highland is actively seeking a Proposal Writer to join our Strategic Proposal Team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in crafting compelling proposals across diverse global industries and supporting public sectors throughout the United States. As a full-time team member, you'll collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts and Corporate Executives to create impactful proposal content and participate in using AI innovations for proposal development. The position offers a unique blend of working both in-office and remotely, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to North Highland's success.

You'll be working alongside other changemakers in our firm to elevate brand awareness and engagement through our owned social channels, integrated campaign support, and employee advocacy programs.

YOU WILL:

  • Analyzing RFP, features/benefits, and section theme statements

  • Creating proposal content using pre-written material, AI, or from scratch

  • Interview subject matter experts and transform output into clear and concise proposal-ready content.

  • Compiling with proposal guidance (e.g., page count restrictions and visuals, section organization, style sheets, section writing templates)

  • Writing assigned proposal section(s) on schedule

  • Consolidating responses from various authors into a complete document compliant with RFP format standards/requirements/instructions

  • Consulting with graphic artist to create supporting key visuals.

  • Reviewing proposal responses for clarity, grammar, and responsiveness to each discrete requirement and edit content in accordance with industry best practices.

  • Developing subsequent section drafts according to feedback from review teams.

  • Managing the collection and editing of standard proposal content into an electronic archival system

  • Editing and formatting of final document material for submission

  • Collecting and submitting lessons learned and appropriate recommendations throughout the proposal process.


IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or English (four years' proposal writing experience in lieu of degree or two to four years' proposal writing experience with a degree).

  • Certified APMP Proposal Training highly desired

  • APMP Foundation Certification highly desired

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written English language communications skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to interact, communicate with consulting and business professionals.

Communication - provides clear messaging through emails, NH Weekly updates, power point presentations, etc. to inform and influence the business.
