Role Profile

Reliance Worldwide Corporation is seeking to hire a Manager Group Consolidation for the Group Controller's organization located in Atlanta, GA and will report to the Assistant Group Controller. This position will lead the management of the monthly global consolidation process, including preparation of select management reports, and assist with completion of financial audits. The role will supervise two direct reports. The role also interacts with Regional Controllers and Accounting Managers, Corporate Department Heads/VPs and well as external auditors..

Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead the management and coordination of the monthly global consolidation of the company's financial statements, with delivery of the consolidated profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflows
  • Prepare internal and external reporting schedules
  • Coordinate and control the Group Accounting Month End close ensuring compliance to schedule
  • Lead the preparation of the consolidated statement of cash flows and determine the need for adjusting entries.
  • Assist in the review and validation of financial data reported by businesses in HFM on a monthly basis. Work with finance personnel as needed to resolve any reporting issues/matters.
  • Support global consolidation reporting software (HFM) activities, including support of metadata changes and further development of the HFM Cashflow process
  • Assist with financial audits, prepare audit schedules and interface with external auditors on consolidation, balance sheet and cash flow matters.
  • Lead the maintenance of control procedures associated with the global consolidation process. Maintain the proper documentation of internal controls to support compliance
  • Work with other functions including tax, investor relations and treasury to provide necessary data for regulatory and other reporting requirements.
  • Review/facilitate the reconciliation of Intercompany reports.
  • Lead the maintenance of company-wide tracking of intercompany investments, transactions and related consolidation/elimination entries.
  • Review of Corporate Entity Reconciliations; ensure proper accounting for the Company's corporate level transactions
  • Assist the Group Controller's team with special projects and accounting for M&A transactions as required.
  • Lead the worldwide implementation of a close tracking tool
  • Support process improvements and efficiencies related to the monthly consolidation and close activities while ensuring the integrity of the process and data

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Expertise

  • Degree in Accounting; CPA.
  • 5+ years of relevant financial reporting and consolidation experience including experience working in a large global corporation.
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
  • Strong accounting skills including knowledge of GAAP and IFRS and foreign currency translation
  • Strong technical capability with Excel; strong knowledge of ERP/ financial software such as Oracle, Blackline, SAPHFM and OneStream a plus
  • Ability to work with both a variety of management and staff levels.
  • Able to set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage staff along with managing individual responsibilities.
