Job Description

Position Overview:

The Zelis Network Services Coordinator - Provider Support position requires adaptable knowledge including all elements of the Zelis Proprietary Networks and Zelis Clients. A process and service expert whose responsibilities include client communication, support and resolution, as the individual in this role will serve as a liaison to ensure provider needs are met in a prompt and efficient manner. The ability to efficiently organize and prioritize requests and follow through to meet deadlines is essential to success to generate provider satisfaction and optimal revenue potential.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Service requests from providers and consultants regarding issues involving claim inquiries and Client connection escalations
  • Maintain, record, and communicate provider requests within databases
  • Verify and maintain accurate provider demographic information for optimal re-pricing
  • Ability to interpret and implement proprietary client access limitations and nuances
  • Track, collaborate and follow through all open cases with Zelis client service team on behalf of the providers to aid in client connection or claim dispute
  • Provide thorough resolution communication to the provider with information provided by the Zelis client team
  • Review and place provider OPT OUT requests
  • Share results and escalations with Supervisor
  • Maintain daily interaction with internal departments
  • Special team projects as needed and assigned by management

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in provider-facing role involving network plans
  • Education Level: High School Diploma/GED
  • At least two (2) years' experience customer focused positions
  • Advanced level knowledge and proficiency of MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc. and related applications
