We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about social media marketing and eager to kick-start their career in the field. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a key role in implementing our social media strategies across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain a high level of community engagement across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, and any additional platforms adopted) to support growth objectives that increase brand advocacy and awareness.
  2. Assist in creating and executing social media content calendars.
  3. Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with the Customer Success team to manage communities and relay relevant information to the marketing team.
  5. Engage with our audience by responding to positive comments, messages, and inquiries, and assign all negative comments and/or questions to our social customer success agents.
  6. Create compelling written content for social media posts.
  7. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
  8. Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  9. Listen to networks, blogs, and forums for brand mentions and keywords and identify ways to continue adding value for these communities.
  10. Monitor social chatter for the brand, our ambassadors, and industry competitors' presence and activity through Meltwater-actively engage in high profile conversations.
  11. Test and learn to maximize the value of partnerships with influencers, NGOs, and industry partners.
  12. Support other marketing initiatives as needed.
  13. Assist with the process' (ingesting, tagging, etc.) of managing assets within Bynder (Digital Asset Management system). Ownership of social asset management.
  14. Collaborate with the internal marketing and customer experience teams on current trends and planning of content creation needs specific to social media.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or 2+ years equivalent experience).
  • Strong passion for social media and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meltwater, etc) is a plus.
