Bettina Seidman is a well-known career management coach in private practice in Manhattan. She founded SEIDBET Associates in 1990, after a 20-year career in human resources management. Bettina provides career counseling and professional coaching services to individuals and organizations in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. She works with her clients as a thinking partner, providing career and job transition counseling services in person and long distance by telephone - including assessment, goal setting, networking tactics, resume development, and interviewing & negotiating strategies. She also works with clients on performance coaching including improving interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and political skills on current jobs and new positions. Bettina develops and presents workshops, and consults to corporations on downsizing, terminations, and outplacement. She is frequently interviewed by newspapers and magazines on job and career topics, writes a newsletter called THE SEIDBET BRIEFING, and develops and presents workshops. Recently, she blogged for The New York Times on career change for 3 days and was interviewed and widely quoted for articles in The Wall Street Journal, Reader’s Digest, and The Scientist.

Bettina has been an Instructor at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College, and Baruch College. She is a frequent public speaker and panelist.

Bettina holds a BA degree in Psychology, an MBA in Industrial Psychology, and a Certificate in Labor Relations.
