  1. Set your intentions each day for what you want to create and experience at work.

  2. Notice when you are most productive or focused during the course of a workday. Incorporate those times into your planning for important or challenging projects.

  3. When you worry or you lose focus take a minute to write down what’s on your mind. End your writing by listing ways you can approach your concerns differently.

  4. Forgive someone you are frustrated with, disappointed in or upset with (this might be yourself).

  5. Ask yourself: Am I experiencing tension in my body? Where is it located? Stretch and breathe deeply while focusing on this area of your body to release the tension.

  6. Sprinkle work activities you enjoy throughout the workday.

  7. Go outside at least once during the day. When possible take a walk during your lunch break.

  8. Make time to reflect (especially after meetings or big project deadlines).
